Gelonghui, January 30 | DreamNet Technology (002123.SZ) announced that it expects a net loss of 1.25 million yuan to 181 million yuan in 2023, after deducting non-net loss of 1.32 million yuan to 1880 million yuan.

The company's traditional cloud SMS business volume has declined, industry competition has intensified, and the gross margin of the cloud SMS business continues to decline due to multiple factors. In addition, 5G messaging expansion and ecological cooperation for the new business are lagging behind expectations, and the business volume growth trend has not met expectations. In order to promote early investment in new business, the company's expenses are high, and the gross margin of products such as video SMS has declined. Based on the above reasons, although the company's revenue scale maintained year-on-year growth in 2023, the company's profit declined compared to 2022. Based on the asset group's actual operations over the past three years and future operating forecasts, the company determined that there were signs of impairment of goodwill arising from the acquisition of assets. According to the requirements of the “Enterprise Accounting Standard No. 8 (1) Asset Impairment”, “Accounting Supervision Risk Alert No. 8 - Goodwill Impairment”, etc., the company conducted a preliminary impairment test on the goodwill resulting from the acquisition. It is estimated that it plans to prepare a goodwill impairment of about 110,000 to 160,800 million yuan for the wholly-owned subsidiary Shenzhen Dream Network Technology Development Co., Ltd. Currently, the evaluation of the goodwill impairment test is underway, and the goodwill impairment amount calculated by the company in this period is subject to the final audit and evaluation results.
