According to Zhitong Finance App News, Rainbow New Energy (00438) announced that the Group is expected to achieve operating income of approximately RMB 3.1 billion to RMB 3.15 billion for the year ended December 31, 2023, an increase of about 25%-28% compared with the operating income of approximately RMB 2,4702.8 billion. The net loss attributable to shareholders of the parent company for the year ended December 31, 2023 is approximately RMB 220 million to RMB 245 million, and the net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company for the corresponding period is approximately RMB RMB 2.470.28 billion Compared with 892.3 billion yuan, it decreased by about 347%-375%.
According to the announcement, the main reasons for the decline in the Group's net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company are as follows: (i) the company prepared for asset impairment for some photovoltaic glass products in accordance with the “Accounting Standards for Chinese Enterprises”; (ii) the sharp rise in natural gas prices compared to last year increased operating expenses; (iii) in the year ended December 31, 2023, the photovoltaic glass industry was fiercely competitive.
