WT Group (08422.HK) expects a consolidated net profit of about HK$1.5 million to HK$3 million for the medium term, turning a year-on-year loss into a profit

On February 5, GLONGHUI | WT Group (08422.HK) announced that the Group expects to record a comprehensive net profit of between HK$1.5 million and HK$3 million in the six months ending 31 December 2023, compared with an unaudited comprehensive loss of approximately HK$3 million for the same period in 2022.

According to currently available information, the profit in question was mainly due to anticipated credit loss provisions on trade accounts receivable and contract assets during the period under review.
