If you are building a properly diversified stock portfolio, the chances are some of your picks will perform badly. But the long term shareholders of Hualan Biological Engineering Inc. (SZSE:002007) have had an unfortunate run in the last three years. Unfortunately, they have held through a 60% decline in the share price in that time. Furthermore, it's down 17% in about a quarter. It could be that the business is just facing some short term problems, but shareholders should keep a close eye on the fundamentals.
