Zhixin Finance APP reported that Zhuoneng (Group) (00131) announced its interim performance for the six months ended December 31, 2023, with revenue of 78.471 million Hong Kong dollars, a year-on-year increase of 211.41%; the company's shareholders' net profit amounted to approximately 0.313 billion Hong Kong dollars, compared to a loss of 17.98 million Hong Kong dollars in the same period last year; earnings per share were 0.48 Hong Kong dollars, and the interim dividend was 2.25 Hong Kong cents per share.
The announcement stated that the increase in revenue was mainly due to a 60.902 million Hong Kong dollar increase in sales of Shenzhen properties during 2023.
