According to the Zhitong Finance App, Asia Backup (08290) issued an announcement. The Group expects to record a net profit of no more than HK$2.8 million for the year ending December 31, 2023, while a net loss of about HK$2.3 million was recorded in the same period in 2022.
The board of directors believes that turning losses into profits is mainly due to the reduction in employee costs due to the implementation of cost control measures such as team restructuring this year; and confirmed the cancellation of consolidated accounts for a subsidiary company's one-time income.
