According to the news, CITIC Telecom announced its annual results, with turnover of HK$1,987 billion, down 1.2% year on year; net profit of HK$1,231 billion, up 3.4% year on year; profit per share of 33.3 cents, with final interest of HK19.3 cents. Together with an interim dividend of HK6 cents, the annual dividend per share was 25.3 HK cents, up 3.3% from the same period last year.
In 2023, the Group's telecommunication service revenue was HK$8.569 billion, a decrease of 3.0% or HK$262 million compared with the previous year. This was mainly due to a decrease in revenue from international telecommunication services and fixed network voice services, partly offset by increased revenue from mobile communications services, enterprise business and Internet business. During the period, revenue from sales of mobile phones and devices reached HK$1,418 million, an increase of 10.8% or HK$138 million over the same period last year.
