According to the Zhitong Finance App, Aerospace Holdings (00031) announced that it expects to achieve an annual net loss of approximately HK$1 million to HK$5 million as of December 31, 2023. Compared with the annual net loss of HK$253 million achieved in 2022, this year's loss will be significantly narrowed; the annual revenue for the year ended December 31, 2023 is expected to be approximately HK$3.4 billion, a decrease of about 24% compared with the 2022 annual revenue of HK$4.502 billion.
According to the announcement, the narrowing of losses was mainly due to the lack of significant losses due to termination of leases and impairment of rent receivable this year, as well as losses due to a decline in the fair value of investment properties of about HK$123 million; the decrease in operating income was mainly due to a sharp decline in sales from industrial enterprises, especially the circuit board business.
