Gelonghui, March 27, 丨 Jianqiao Education (01525.HK) announced that for the year ended December 31, 2023, the Group's revenue increased by about RMB 139.8 million or 17.7% to approximately RMB 929.9 million. The increase was mainly due to (i) the increase in revenue from tuition and accommodation fees of approximately RMB 132.4 million or 17.1%. The increase was mainly due to (i) the increase in the number of students in the year ended 31 December 2023 and the increase in average tuition and accommodation fees per student; and (ii) the college resumed accommodation during the reporting period As a result, due to the COVID-19 outbreak in the same period last year, some students did not stay in school. Profit during the year was 283 million yuan, an increase of 26.0% year over year.
In the 2023/24 academic year, the total number of full-time students enrolled in the college was 25,013, up 546 from the 2022/23 school year. The increase in the number of students enrolled was due to the increase in the number of students enrolled in the college. In the 2023/24 academic year, the college enrolled 4,613 undergraduate programs, 788 undergraduate students, and 1,982 undergraduate students enrolled.
