Zhitong Finance App News, Ocean Global Holdings (08476) announced that Jiaxin Holdings Co., Ltd., the controlling shareholder of the company, acquired a total of 1.4 million shares of the company at an average price of about HK$1.79 per share from the open market from March 25, 2024 to March 28, 2024, which is equivalent to about 0.5% of the company's issued shares.
Jiaxin is wholly owned by Chen Jianfeng, Chairman of the Board of Directors, CEO and Executive Director of the company. Therefore, Chen Jianfeng is considered to have an interest in shares held by Jiaxin. Following the acquisition, Jiaxin and Chen Jianfeng jointly held an interest in 205.8 million shares, equivalent to about 73.5% of the company's issued share capital. The board of directors believes that Jiaxin's increased shareholding in the company reflects its full confidence in the company's prospects.
