This discontinuation of production is a phased shutdown, which helps to further reduce the production costs of the company and subsidiaries, rationally revitalize production resources, improve production and operation management efficiency, and ensure the smooth implementation of the Qingyuan Water Treatment Qingyuan Plant relocation project.
The company's wholly-owned subsidiary Qingyuan Water Treatment currently has two production plants, Qingyuan Plant and Huling Plant. The main product design capacity of the Qingyuan plant area: annual HEDP production capacity 60,000 tons, ATMP production capacity 12,000 tons, HPMA production capacity 6,000 tons, DTPMP production capacity of 6,000 tons, chloromethane production capacity 30,000 tons; Huling plant's main product design capacity: annual HEDP production capacity 80,000 tons, ATMP production capacity 20,000 tons, DTPMP production capacity 10,000 tons, DTPMP production capacity 10,000 tons, methylene chloride production capacity 100,000 tons. After the phased discontinuation of production at the Qingyuan Water Treatment Qingyuan Plant, the company's water treatment agent production capacity will be concentrated mainly in the Qingyuan Water Treatment Huling Plant area. The company's output of water treatment agents (excluding derivatives) in 2023 was 154,300 tons, and sales volume was 133,600 tons. The current production capacity of the Qingyuan Water Treatment Huling Plant can meet current market demand and daily production and operation needs. The discontinuation of production at the Qingyuan Water Treatment Qingyuan Plant is a phased discontinuation of production. The company will combine the overall arrangement of the relocation project and consider factors such as product market demand, product margin space, and production line relocation arrangements to stop production at the Qingyuan Water Treatment Qingyuan Plant in different stages, products, and production lines. The phased shutdown of the Qingyuan Water Treatment Qingyuan Plant will not adversely affect the company's normal production and operation activities and continuous operation capacity.
