According to the Zhitong Finance App, Weiyang Liquor Holdings (08509) issued an announcement that Weiyang (Liquor) Co., Ltd. (as a borrower), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, and the company (as a guarantor) have accepted the bank financing letter issued by Chong Hing Bank Limited. On May 3, 2024, Weiyang (Liquor) (as a borrower) and the company (as a guarantor) accepted a new bank financing letter issued by the lender to renew the financing letter granted by the lender. The renewed financing letter contains (i) financing of up to HK$73 million in total (a) a three-year term loan and (b) other trade and loan financing); and (ii) an overdraft of up to HK$3 million, which can be used by Weiyang (Liquor) in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in the financing letter, subject to (among others) review by the lender from time to time and subject to the lender's overriding right to repay as required.
