"EXORPTION(R)" is a purification kit that can easily and quickly collect extracellular vesicles (EVs) such as exosomes with high purity and high yield through simple operation. The kit was launched in May 2024 through Cosmo Bio <3386> and Takara Bio <4974>.
"EXORPTION(R)" uses a spin column with special hydrogel beads that absorb body fluids, and can be purified using a common small tabletop centrifuge without a dedicated device. It can be purified in about 90 minutes, which is about 1/20 compared to the current popular ultracentrifugation method, and high-purity EVs with less than 1/100 of impurities can be obtained with nearly ten times the recovery amount. By using "EXORPTION(R)", it is possible to easily purify and utilize high-purity EVs, leading not only to early diagnosis and determination of treatment policies for various diseases, but also to innovation in drug development.
