Kichiri Holdings <3082> announced consolidated financial results for the 3rd quarter (23/7/24 to 3/24) of the fiscal year ending 2024/6 on the 13th. Sales increased 31.2% from the same period last year to 10.328 billion yen, operating profit was 662 million yen (loss of 127 million yen in the same period last year), ordinary profit was 329 million yen (loss of 323 million yen), and quarterly net profit attributable to parent company shareholders was 211 million yen (loss of 283 million yen).

The company group has opened 4 new stores in the food and beverage business. In the Ishigamaya hamburger business, in 2023/12, they opened 2 stores, “Ishigamaya Hamburg Steak Aeon Mall Okazaki” in the commercial facility “Aeon Mall Okazaki” in Okazaki-shi, Aichi prefecture, and “Ishigamaya Hamburg Steak Celeo Kokubunji” in the commercial facility “Celeo Kokubunji” in Kokubunji City, Tokyo. In the VEGEGO business category, “VEGEGO Onure Reciktan & Cafe Aeon Mall Hinode” was opened in 2023/11 at the commercial facility “Aeon Mall Hinode” in Hinode-cho, Nishitama-gun, Tokyo. In the tonkatsu business, “Tonkatsu LaLaport Fujimi” opened in 2024/3 at the commercial facility “Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport Fujimi” in Fujimi City, Saitama Prefecture. Thus, it owns various business categories compatible with all locations, such as the KICHIRI business type, Ishigamaya hamburger business category, VEGEGO business category, etc., and has high business category development capabilities to accurately capture trends. Furthermore, each and every employee expresses “lots of love,” which is the group's corporate philosophy, and it is planned to differentiate themselves from competitors by providing hospitality unique to the company group.

As for the franchise business, they are opening stores in the shopping center “Yume Town” operated by Izumi, which is one of the largest general supermarkets in western Japan, in the Ishigamaya Hamburg steak business category.

Regarding the platform sharing business, we create new customer value by realizing collaboration with brand holders in a wide variety of fields by utilizing the production and consulting capabilities we have cultivated so far, and we are also actively promoting DX, which solves various issues born from changes in people's work styles and lifestyles with new technology. While developing multiple businesses, we believe that the know-how cultivated through the platform sharing business can contribute to regional revitalization aimed at improving the vitality of Japan as a whole, and regional revitalization projects have been carried out since 2023/4.

For the full fiscal year ending 2024/6, the consolidated earnings forecast revised upward on January 30 is unchanged, with sales rising 26.1% from the previous fiscal year to 13.80 billion yen, operating income of 780 million yen, ordinary income of 470 million yen, and net income attributable to parent company shareholders of 350 million yen.
