According to reports, the parties plan to cooperate with Xiamen Silan Jihong Semiconductor Co., Ltd. (“Shilan Jihong” or “project company”), a joint venture project company in Haicang District of Xiamen City, to use the project company as the main project to build an 8-inch SiC power device chip manufacturing production line with SiC-MoseFET as the main product, with a production capacity of 60,000 pieces/month. The total investment of the first phase of the project was 7 billion yuan, of which the capital was 4.21 billion yuan, accounting for about 60%; bank loans were 2.79 billion yuan, accounting for about 40%. The second phase invested 5 billion yuan.
Silan Jihong added a registered capital of 4.150 billion yuan. After the capital increase is completed, Shilan Jihong's registered capital will increase from 60 million yuan to 4.210 billion yuan; the company's shareholding ratio is 25.1781%, Xiamen Semiconductor Investment Group Co., Ltd.'s shareholding ratio is 23.7530%, and Xiamen Xinyi Technology Industrial Co., Ltd.'s shareholding ratio is 51.0689%.
According to the announcement, after the completion of the second phase of construction of the project, it will establish a production capacity of 720,000 8-inch silicon carbide power device chips per year in Haicang District of Xiamen City, cultivate a semiconductor company that conforms to the national integrated circuit industry development plan, develops, and develops third-generation semiconductor power devices as its main business and has international management capabilities.
