Currently, the safe delivery service has been launched in 10 cities: Chongqing, Chengdu, Beijing, Ningbo, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Shaoxing, Jinhua, Nanjing, and Shanghai.
The relevant person in charge of Didi Delivery said, “In past orders, users who ship small pieces or fragile items often require drivers to provide a higher standard of service during handling and transportation to ensure safe delivery of goods. According to Didi delivery data, since the trial operation of “Safe Delivery”, the monthly repurchase rate of users has exceeded 50%. Among them, orders for “urgent use of conventional medicines, fresh ingredients, bulk snacks, pet supplies, and glass furniture” are more likely to pay for “Safe Delivery.”
