On the afternoon of May 24, Sina Technology News reported that Didi Delivery recently announced the launch of the “Safe Delivery” service. For items that require expedited delivery or are easy to lose, it provides services including: one-on-one delivery by safe drivers, overtime compensation for on-time delivery, and a speedy refund service guarantee for unreasonable expenses. Currently, the safe delivery service has been launched in 10 cities: Chongqing, Chengdu, Beijing, Ningbo, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Shaoxing, Jinhua, Nanjing, and Shanghai.

The relevant person in charge of Didi Delivery said, “In past orders, users who ship small pieces or fragile items often require drivers to provide a higher standard of service during handling and transportation to ensure safe delivery of goods. In response to such 'urgent use, fear of loss, and fear of damage' delivery needs, we have tried to develop a 'safe delivery' service.” At the same time, the platform will select drivers with high energy value and high praise rates, certify them as “safe drivers” after passing relevant training, and accept “safe delivery” orders. “Most of the 'Safe Delivery' service fees will go to Anxin Drivers to help Anxin Drivers earn good income through good service.” The person in charge said.

According to Didi delivery data, since the trial operation of “Safe Delivery”, the monthly repurchase rate of users has exceeded 50%. Among them, orders for “urgent use of conventional medicines, fresh ingredients, bulk snacks, pet supplies, and glass furniture” are more likely to pay for “Safe Delivery.”
