Jinwu Financial News | Lenovo Holdings (03396) announced that on May 27, 2024, Lianhong Xinke (a subsidiary of the company) signed a technology transfer (patent) contract with Guoke (Shandong) New Materials (an indirect subsidiary of the company) and Process Engineering. Based on this, Guoke (Shandong) New Materials and Process Engineering agreed to transfer XDI green preparation technology to Lianhong Xinke for a total consideration of RMB 49 million (excluding tax).
XDI is a special isocyanate with high strength, adhesion, flexibility and durability. Currently, its largest application field is optical resin, mainly used in the production of high-end optical lenses; due to its excellent yellowing resistance and rapid curing properties, it is also a key material for TPU base films, coatings and adhesives. It is used to produce stealth car clothing, high-end coatings and inks, polyurethane adhesives for flexible packaging, and OCA optical adhesives, etc., and has a broad market space.
XDI green preparation technology includes (i) a total of 6 patents, 5 of which are independently owned by the Process Engineering Institute, 1 is jointly owned by the Process Engineering Institute and Guoke (Shandong) New Materials; and (ii) the XDI complete technical process package.
