Gelonghui, May 30 | Alibaba-SW (09988.HK) announced that it has submitted Form 6-K to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”). Regarding the company's completed private equity issuance of 5 billion US dollars of convertible senior notes (“notes”) with an interest rate of 0.50% due in 2031, this includes the initial purchaser's full exercise of the right to purchase additional notes with a total principal amount of up to US$500 million (“Additional Purchase Rights”). As far as additional purchasing rights are concerned, the company has used US$63.75 million of capital raised from the sale of additional notes to enter into bullish transactions with one or more of the opting parties.
