TOKAI Holdings ＜3167＞ announced on the 29th that TOKAI Cable Network, which is a subsidiary, together with Yaizu City, has begun a joint demonstration project related to the collection and analysis of human flow data using AI cameras.
This project is scheduled to be carried out at the foot bath in front of JR Yaizu Station from 2024/4/12 to 6/28, and attributes such as the number of users, time spent, gender, age, etc. are analyzed by an AI camera installed, and the collected data can be remotely managed and analyzed through a user interface. Compared to conventional surveys using personnel, data is collected more efficiently, and the effectiveness of this system, which can analyze data without being restricted by time or location, is verified.
Yaizu City aims to utilize the data collected and analyzed in this demonstration project for trend analysis of tourists and citizens, and use it for more effective town development. The company will also consider using these data for administrative policies such as the city's economy, community development, crime prevention, and disaster prevention.
