Shares ofStericycle, Inc. (NASDAQ:SRCL) rose sharply during Monday's session after the company inked a deal to be acquired byWaste Management Inc. (NYSE:WM) for approximately $7.2 billion, including debt.
Stericycle shares climbed 15% to $59.28 on Monday.
