On May 28th, the 10th "Love Light, Children Together on Children’s Day" themed event kicked off at the Liaoning Science and Technology Museum. Children from Shenyang blind school, accompanied by kind-hearted people, came to the Liaoning Science and Technology Museum to experience the charm of science up close.

This event is jointly organized by Liaoning Science and Technology Museum, He's Eye Hospital, Shenyang Blind School, Love Light Anti-blindness Foundation, and Love Light International Club, with 29 kind-hearted people participating in the donation.

"Together with Blind Children on Children's Day" public welfare activities are jointly planned and implemented by He’s Eye Hospital and Love Light Anti-blindness Foundation, which has been ongoing since 2015.

On the day of the event, the students from the blind school brought carefully rehearsed performances to thank the volunteers, and at the same time brought a visual feast for the audience, warming every corner of the Science and Technology Museum, spreading love and hope.

Bright Eyes, Help with Reading - Protecting the Healthy Growth of Adolescents and Children

On June 4th, He's Eye Hospital, along with Shenyang Association of Social Sciences and Shenyang Q&M Dental, launched the "Q&M Dental Read Together" national reading initiative. They exchanged views on how to enhance national reading abilities and protect vision health. Leaders from relevant departments such as the Propaganda Department of the Shenyang Municipal Committee, Shenyang Education Bureau, and Shenhe Education Bureau participated in the event.

Based on the increasingly serious problem of myopia among adolescents, Shenyang Education Bureau and He's Eye Hospital launched the Bright Eyes Initiative, aiming to strengthen the visual health protection of adolescents through promoting paper reading, advocating correct reading habits and eye usage, and letting adolescents grow healthily among books.

During the event, He's Eye Hospital donated children and adolescents' myopia prevention and control science popularization books, edited by Professor He Wei, deputy leader of the national anti-blindness technology guidance group and Chairman of He's Eye Hospital Group, to the Shenyang No.2 Economic and Trade School, providing scientific guidelines for the establishment of healthy reading habits for the students.

On the morning of June 6th, He's Eye Hospital, together with Shenyang Q&M Dental and Zhujiang Five Schools Education Group, jointly held the "Sharing Reading and Sending Books of Hope" - "Seven Steps" book donation ceremony and Zhujiang Five Schools Reading Festival. Liu Xiaonan, the technical director of He's Eye Hospital Vision Center, was invited to host a science popularization lecture on the theme of "Bright Eyes Shining - Make Reading More Bright and Colorful" for the teachers and students of the Zhujiang Five Schools. It delivered healthy reading scientific concepts and daily eye care knowledge to the teachers, students, and parents, and was awarded as a guidance expert for the "Bright Eyes Shining" project.

At the same time, He's Eye Hospital has set up "Eyes to Love" with six schools in six campuses. It donated 30 intelligent eye health training devices such as Astromonocular machines to the schools to introduce advanced myopia prevention and control concepts, technologies and equipment to campuses, provide a healthy and comfortable reading environment for adolescents, and deepen eye health management among children.

In response to the rural revitalization strategy and to strengthen the prevention and control of myopia among children and adolescents in rural areas, on May 25th, the Chongqing He's Eye Hospital and Love Light Anti-blindness Foundation jointly hosted the "Protecting the Eye Health of Children and Adolescents Public Welfare Project" in the Zhongyuan Study Center of Zigong City, Sichuan Province, with the donation from Shanghai Weixing Optical Co., Ltd.

During the event, the guests at the meeting distributed eye health packages prepared for the students, including postural correction devices, eye health manuals, household self-test visual acuity tables, schoolbags, skipping ropes, and elastic balls, with the aim of helping children develop good eye habits.

After the opening ceremony, the medical team from Chongqing He's Eye Hospital provided visual acuity checks, computer optometry, slit lamp examination, fundus examination, and other services to more than 90 students, widely popularizing healthy visual knowledge and providing public service optical matching services for students with needs.

On May 30th, the Tieling County United Front Work Department, Tieling Heshi Ophthalmology Hospital, and Liaoning Aizhiguang Blindness Prevention Fund held the launching ceremony of the "Aizhiguang·Tieling Guangming Project" public welfare project.

On June 5th, the "Wishing our country a bright future" large-scale public welfare project was launched at the Benxi Heshi Ophthalmology Hospital. The project was sponsored by Benxi Municipal United Front Work Department, Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce, Liaoning Aizhiguang Blindness Prevention Fund, and hosted by the Benxi Heshi Ophthalmology Hospital. Benxi County and Huanren County Federation of Industry and Commerce assisted in organizing the event.

Starting from mid-June, the medical team of Heshi Ophthalmology Hospital will be dispatched to nearly 100 villages in Benxi County and Huanren County, bringing with them digitally intelligent professional inspection equipment independently developed by Heshi Ophthalmology, and carrying out free eye disease consultations and eye health public welfare propaganda activities.
