Moomoo News ·  Jun 10 14:11

At Apple's annual tech keynote, the firm announced the "Apple Intelligence" system, a large language model that learns how to help with "everyday tasks" by analyzing user activity. Siri will also use ChatGPT 4 to answer questions right on Appl devices.

The system can help improve writing and generate images according to the presentation.

The firm also announced Private Cloud Compute, a way to "only send relevant data" for a processing task to Apple servers. The presentation claimed Apple "cryptographically secures" all server requests. As a part of the artificial intelligence demonstration, the firm presented upgrades to Siri, that will enable the virtual assistant to read iPhone screens and search for photos.

"This era starts a new era for engineering," a presenter said. According to the presentation, the update, which will be released as a beta test to select users this summer, will include Chatgpt directly in Siri locally.
