Singapore Shares Remain Flat; Acrometa Down 7% After SG$3.3 Million Divestment

Singapore shares remained flat on Wednesday amid mixed performances in the global markets.

During the day, the benchmark Singapore Strait Times Index ranged between 3,303.52 and 3,323.21, ending 0.05% or 1.77 points lower at 3,307.44.

In company news, shares of Acrometa Group (SGX:43F) slumped over 7% after it completed the sale of its wholly owned subsidiary, Acromec Engineers, to AESM Holding for an aggregate consideration of SG$3.3 million.

MTQ's (SGX:M05) was up over 3% after its wholly owned subsidiary, Blossomvale Investments, disposed off an additional 1,891,066 shares held in MMA Offshore (ASX:MRM) for AU$2.6518 per share.

Shares of Nordic Group (SGX:MR7) were up over 3% after it bought back 181,600 shares in the open market on Tuesday for SG$52,917.
