According to the Zhitong Finance App, Weiyang Liquor Holdings (08509) issued an announcement. According to a preliminary review of the Group's unaudited financial data for the year ended March 31, 2024, compared with the annual profit of about HK$16.3 million for the year ended March 31, 2023, the Group is expected to achieve annual profit of not less than HK$30 million this year. The Board of Directors believes that the increase in profit during the year was mainly due to the combined effects of rising Group earnings; continued implementation of cost reduction and efficiency measures, which reduced the Group's sales and distribution expenses and administrative expenses; and increased financing costs of the Group's interest-bearing bank loans.
