Recently, The Copper Mark officially awarded the TFM copper-cobalt mine in Congo (Kinshasa) operated by CMOC Group the copper mark certification, in recognition of its responsible copper production practices. TFM thus becomes the first mine in Africa to receive the Copper Mark certification, and also the first Chinese-operated mine in the world to receive the certification.
