Bonny Hldg (01906) announced that it plans to raise up to approximately HKD 73.5 million (net of expenses) by way of a rights issue. It will issue no more than 300 million shares at the subscription price of HKD 0.245 per share. The basis for the rights issue will be one offer share for every four existing shares held by qualifying shareholders at the end of the record date, provided that there is no further issuance or repurchase of shares before or on the record date and all the offer shares will be subscribed.
The net proceeds from the rights issue are estimated to be no more than approximately HKD 72.1 million.
In addition, the board of directors proposes to change the trading unit size from 5,000 shares to 10,000 shares, effective from 9:00 am on Wednesday, August 7, 2024.
