Pangang Group Vanadium & Titanium Resources (000629.SZ) stated in their investor relations event on June 20 that the company is actively expanding the promotion and application of vanadium in the energy storage field, and has established strategic cooperative relationships with such enterprises as State Power Investment Corporation (SPIC) and Dalian Rongke Power Co., Ltd. The company has provided high-quality raw materials for preparing vanadium electrolyte to Dalian Rongke Power Co., Ltd. Accumulatively, this has exceeded 16,000 tons (converted to V2O5). In addition, the two companies jointly built a 2,000 cubic meter/year vanadium electrolyte production line, which completed equipment installation and thermal load testing in May 2023, and has already achieved production goals. Looking forward, the company and Dalian Rongke will continue to promote the construction of a joint venture 60,000 cubic meter/year vanadium electrolyte production line according to the joint venture agreement, jointly promoting the development of vanadium application in the field of energy storage.
