The announcement stated that after the adjustment, the customer traffic during the opening hours was high, and the work intensity of the employees was high. Most of them were new employees and their professional skills were not yet proficient. In order to allow employees to have more rest and adaptation, and to facilitate timely adjustments to the problems in the store, the business hours will be temporarily adjusted to 9:30-19:00, and there will be no queue for entry after 6 pm. After 19 days of closed store adjustment, Yonghui Superstores Xinyuan Guangchang store resumed normal business on June 19th. It is understood that this closed store adjustment was achieved with the help of Pangdonglai, involving systematic adjustments such as employee salaries, working hours, store planning, commodity reorganization, supply chain, price optimization, and service improvement. According to Yonghui Supermarkets, as of the end of the business hours on the evening of June 19th, the first day of sales at the Yonghui Supermarket Zhengzhou Xinyuan Guangchang store reached 1.88 million yuan, about 13.9 times the average daily sales before the adjustment; the customer flow exceeded 12,000 that day, about 5.3 times the average daily customer flow before the adjustment, indicating significant improvement from the adjustment.
