Energy Intinv (00353.HK) announced on June 20th that it is expected to record a decrease of approximately HKD 125,000,000 in revenue for the fiscal year 2024, mainly due to the decrease in sales of oil and liquid chemicals; and a decrease of approximately HKD 30,000,000 in profit for the fiscal year 2024, mainly due to the termination of the recognition of the net gain of approximately HKD 63,000,000 generated by the recognition of financial assets and liabilities that were confirmed in the fiscal year 2023 as being settled through an agreement method, but some of which were(i) reversed by the net gain of approximately HKD 13,000,000 generated by the allocation of impairment losses on trade receivables and other receivables recognized in the fiscal year 2024 under the expected credit loss model, compared to the net loss of impairment losses of approximately HKD 2,000,000 generated in the fiscal year 2023; (ii) increased by the fair value gain of investment properties of approximately HKD 4,000,000; (iii) reduced by the fair value loss of financial assets recognized in profit or loss by approximately HKD 5,000,000; and (iv) offset by the decrease in financial costs of approximately HKD 8,000,000 due to the repayment of several bank borrowings in the fiscal years 2024 and 2023.
