Tongdeshi Group (00518.HK) announced that the company is expected to incur a loss of approximately HKD 11 million to HKD 14 million attributable to shareholders as of March 31, 2024 for the fiscal year ending. Compared with the profit attributable to shareholders of approximately HKD 19.7 million recorded in the previous fiscal year, the expected loss for this year is due to the sharply deteriorating business environment in the current year, which has led to a significant decline in the group's sales in the North American market, as well as the unfavorable base effect of the strong income brought by the suppressed demand in the same period last year.
