According to a statement by Hang Yick Holdings (01894), the group is expected to suffer a continuous operating loss of approximately HKD 4.1 million by the end of the fiscal year ending March 31, 2024, while a continuous operating profit of approximately HKD 1.8 million was achieved by the end of the fiscal year ending March 31, 2023.
The main reason for the conversion from profit to loss is (including but not limited to) that due to the deterioration of the market conditions, the expected credit losses have increased significantly, and the workload of some projects near the final stage has decreased, resulting in a decrease in revenue within the year.
