Orbic Business Consultants Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Narufumi Wada; Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo/ hereafter OBC), which develops and sells core business systems such as the Magistrate Bugyo Cloud, starting with Kanjo Bugyo, has a digital voice promotion council (hereafter, EIPA (EIPA)) on the “Bugyo Edge Claim Management Electronic Cloud” (hereinafter referred to as the “Bugyo Cloud Series”) provided by OBC I would like to inform you that I participated in the interconnection test that was carried out.
“Peppol (Peppol)” is an international standard for sending and receiving electronic documents such as invoices over a network. It has been adopted in European countries, Singapore, Australia, etc., and the spread of Peppol e-Invoices (digital invoices sent and received via the “Peppol” network) is progressing internationally.
The following 23 volunteer EIPA member companies participated in this test, and it was conducted with digital invoice (Peppol e-invoice) compatible product services provided by each company. Thus, it was demonstrated that transmission and reception between different systems is possible in each customer's environment.

■What the success of the demonstration experiment will bring
The successful interconnection tests between the “Bugyo Edge Claim Management Digitization Cloud” and “Bugyo Edge Payment Management Digitization Cloud” and the participating companies' products and services indicate that an environment where digital invoices can be smoothly exchanged online between different systems compatible with digital invoices (Peppol e-invoice) is already in place.
Currently, many companies are making efforts to digitize invoices as a result of support for the invoice system. By handling digital invoices (Peppol e-invoice) with accounting AI services and accounting systems, not only can invoices be electronically received and issued, but invoice data can be easily linked between domestic and foreign companies, and automation of input operations such as journal entries can also be realized. The practical application of digital invoices (Peppol e-invoice) can be expected to further improve the efficiency of billing operations and improve productivity.
