In today's growth market, both the TSE Growth Market Index and the TSE Growth Market 250 Index continued to decline. There were 191 advancing issues, 357 declining issues, and 35 unchanged issues.
The Dow Jones Average fell 45.20 dollars to 39118.86, and the Nasdaq Index fell 126.08 points to 17732.60 in the U.S. market on June 28th. The market opened mixed. Concerns about inflation re-accelerating retreated after May's slowdown in the PCE price index (core), and the expectation of a rate cut by the Federal Reserve Board supported the market, but the Dow fell as Nike, a sporting goods maker whose earnings disappointed, weighed it down. The market rose after the Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index for June exceeded expectations. The Nasdaq briefly hit a new high, but after digesting the latest economic indicators, it turned lower and the major stock indices closed slightly lower.
Although the TSE Growth Market Index rose at the beginning, it quickly turned negative. After trading sideways at around 845 points, it became a lackluster day as it continued to decline from the late afternoon. The TSE Growth Market Core Index also had almost the same price movement.
ENECHANGE <4169>, which fell 18.96%, was the top loser. Since being designated as a supervised stock (to be confirmed) on June 27, selling has been flooding in. Also, Integral <192A>, which posted a forecast for the fiscal year ended May and fell in disappointing sales, and Regional newspaper <2164>, where the short-term feeling of exhaustion became dominant after the third quarter results, also fell significantly. Among the top trading stocks, Sanbio <4592> and NPC <6255> fell. Among other stocks with high decline rates, AHC Group <7083>, GMOTECH <6026>, and Integral <5842> ranked in.
On the other hand, Post Prime <198A>, which rose 29.50%, was the top gainer. The attention to RIGAR <7090> continued due to its business alliance with TBM. Also, CellSeed <7776>, which announced that its U.S. patent application for developing cartilage cell sheets had been examined as a patent, and Perseus <4882>, which announced the completion of the phase 1 trial of its anti-transferrin receptor 1 (TfR1) antibody "PPMX-T003" by patients with true polycythemia vera, rose significantly. Among the top trading stocks, ELEMENTS <5246> and QPS Research Institute <5595> were bought. Among other stocks with high gain rates, HOPE <6195>, RoboPay <4374>, and Chordia <190A> were ranked.
In the TSE Growth Market Core Index, Lawyer Dotcom <6027>, GNI <2160>, Sea Yu-C <9158>, and MacbeeP <7095> fell.
