Sekisui Chemical Industry Co., Ltd.
Sekisui Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. (President: Keita Kato, hereinafter "the Company") will hold an online webinar to introduce inkjet technology that can achieve from micro shapes to high-aspect shapes for the electronics industry.
1. Purpose of the event
In recent years, as electronic devices have become smaller and more functional in the electronics field, fine coating and high functionalization of materials have advanced, and there is a demand for environmental impact reduction that is conscious of SDGs and ESG at the same time.
We have been developing inkjet technology that enables fine coating without solvents since 2010. By using our material design technology and printing process technology, we have achieved shape control from micro shapes to high-aspect shapes and high functionalization of materials.
In the webinar, we will introduce the differences from conventional inkjet methods, strengths of high viscosity inkjet, and application examples.
2. About our inkjet technology
Our inkjet ink is a product that makes it possible to apply coatings in a viscosity range that was difficult to discharge conventionally, even though it is a light-curing ink with tiny droplets of about 20 μm. Therefore, compared to general inkjet inks, it is capable of printing with high-aspect shapes and in narrow spaces.
