Hagiwara Electric Holdings Co., Ltd. <7467> was founded in 1948 by Tadaomi Hagiwara, the founder of the company, who had worked for Anritsu <6754> and started a repair business for electrical products such as radios. Initially, the company sold electronic tubes as a sales agency for Nippon Electric Company <6701> (NEC), and later entered the automobile field in the late 1960s, expanding its business. Currently, Denso and other Toyota Group companies are its main trading partners. Hagiwara Electric Holdings Co., Ltd. went public on the over-the-counter market (later the JASDAQ market of the Tokyo Stock Exchange) in 1995 and transferred to the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange and the First Section of the Nagoya Stock Exchange in November 2014. In addition, in April 2022, the company transferred to the Prime Market as a result of the Tokyo Stock Exchange market classification restructuring and to the Premier Market as a result of the Nagoya Stock Exchange market classification restructuring.
