Zhi Sheng GP (08370.HK) announced that Qingtian of Sichuan has appealed to the Intermediate People's Court in Dongguan City, Guangdong Province (the "Intermediate People's Court") and requested that the court cancel or change the judgment or remand the case for retrial. The banks have also appealed to change the related judgments. The hearing was held on May 28, 2024, and the Intermediate People's Court issued a civil judgment ("June 2024 Judgment") on June 7, 2024. As a result (including), the appeals of Qingtian of Sichuan and the banks were rejected and the original judgment (i.e. January 2024 judgment) was upheld. The verdict of June 2024 is final.
