On July 2, Gelunhui reported that Xinyuan PM (01895.HK) announced that Deloitte had resigned as the company's auditor, effective from June 28, 2024, because the company failed to reach an agreement with Deloitte on the audit fees for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2024.
The board of directors further announced that upon the recommendation of the audit committee, KPMG has been appointed as the company's auditor with effect from July 2, 2024 to fill the temporary vacancy created by Deloitte's resignation, and will serve until the end of the next shareholder annual meeting.
