UEM Edgenta Berhad (UEM Edgenta) has signed a Memorandum of Business Exploration (MOBE) with Iskandar Investment Berhad (IIB) to enhance sustainability, energy efficiency, and carbon emission reduction in Medini, Johor.

This partnership aims to support IIB's Net Zero goals through various initiatives over the next two years.

Additionally, the collaboration will focus on integrating UEM Edgenta's advanced energy efficiency solutions to foster a sustainable built environment and hyper-connected city technologies in the Iskandar region.

Under the MOBE, UEM Edgenta will provide expertise in achieving Net Zero Buildings through energy efficiency measures, on-site renewable energy, energy audits, and retrofitting buildings to meet green standards.

The MOBE will be implemented by UEM Edgenta's subsidiaries—OPUS Consultants, Edgenta Property & Facilities Solutions (PFS), and Edgenta NXT.
