Beijing SL Pharmaceutical(002038.SZ) announced on July 5 that the company has recently received the Drug Registration Certificate for sulfated amino glucosamine capsule (trade name: Jining) issued by the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA).
Amino glucosamine is a naturally occurring amino monosaccharide in the human body's physiological state, which is a necessary substance for synthesizing protein polysaccharides in the human joint cartilage matrix. It can stimulate chondrocytes to produce protein polysaccharides with a normal polymeric structure, and improve the repair capacity of chondrocytes, inhibit enzymes that damage cartilage (such as collagenase and phospholipase A2), and prevent the production of superoxide free radicals that damage cells. Sulfated amino glucosamine can promote the repair and reconstruction of the cartilage matrix, thereby delaying the pathological process and disease progression of joint pain, improving joint activity, and relieving pain. The product is mainly used to treat primary and secondary osteoarthritis. It is an over-the-counter painkiller drug and a first-line drug for treating osteoarthritis. It is widely used clinically to treat primary or acute joint diseases caused by joint degeneration and metabolic dysfunction.
