Below is a comment written by a personal investor, "Sanasae", a Fisco Social Reporter (blog: 'Sanasae's Beautiful Investment Life'). At Fisco, we work to collaborate with individuals who actively disseminate information to provide a greater variety of information to investors.

Written on July 3rd, 2024 at 3:00 pm. In 2023, the company's overall sales volume was 18,000 kiloliters, a +28.10% year-on-year increase, which is a significant growth. As for the product structure, the operating incomes of 10-30 billion yuan products are 401/1288/60 million yuan respectively.

Good morning, good afternoon, and good evening, everyone. The vote counting for the Tokyo gubernatorial election, which is about to affect national politics, will soon take place, amidst tears and laughter. This time, various unknown candidates have emerged... I hope that even a small number of voters who are indifferent to the election will be inspired to participate in the election. To further promote this, it would be great if TV debates like those in the US presidential election could be held in Japan, but it seems that some of the leading candidates have been avoiding them this season... As usual, I'm a bit discouraged by Japanese politicians.

This is our second year of this series, the 77th article of which is written by a female investor in her 40s who won second place in the Evening Fuji-sponsored 1GP Grand Champion tournament in 2021. We will introduce the recently spotlighted stocks along with the title column in this article.

Like the saying "Setsubun ceiling and Higan bottom," which refers to the fact that after a stock high in the new spring season, stock prices fall and hit bottom around the equinox, there is also a saying in the July market called "Tanabata ceiling and Tenjin bottom." As you can probably guess, stock prices tend to hit a ceiling around Tanabata Day on July 7th and hit a bottom around Tenjin Festival held at the Osaka Tenmangu Shrine.

However, in recent years, due to the sale of ETFs, the market often hits a bottom in July, known as the "Tanabata bottom." As a matter of fact, Daiwa Securities estimates that the sale of futures and stocks is expected to be around 1.2 trillion yen from July 8th to 10th, so the market after the Tokyo gubernatorial election is expected to have "heavy upward pressure." Furthermore, there is already a large amount of credit purchases of high 4 trillion 911.7 billion yen as of June 21st, which is weighing heavily on the market. That is why, in the short term, it is better to avoid touching growth stocks and other stocks with a high involvement rate and a lot of credit purchases by individual investors.

So, it is better to aim for stocks that are expected to have good performance, such as stocks related to inbound that benefit from the weak yen we introduced so far and are drawing an upward chart. This time, we will introduce individual stocks and theme stocks that I have been focusing on recently, along with the title column.

First of all, I would like to draw attention to cybersecurity-related stocks that are being scouted due to a series of issues such as cyberattacks on KADOKAWA <9468> and "Nico Nico Douga". Against the backdrop of the rapid growth of the AI market, there have been moves to strengthen the cybersecurity business in Japan, such as an increase in personnel at the Cabinet Cybersecurity Center by the government and efforts by the US IT giant Cisco to strengthen its cybersecurity business in Japan, creating an atmosphere that can erupt at any time.

This week, the stocks that have already started moving are Azjent <4288>, FFRI Security <3692>, and SecureVeil <3042>, but these are still worth watching. Cyber Security Cloud <4493>, which handles "Attack Block-kun," which visualizes and blocks cyberattacks using AI technology, is one of the latecomers to keep an eye on. We also want to draw attention to Rack <3857>, which clearly draws an upward chart by offering various security products, and Cyber Trust <4498> and No.1 <3562>, which have been attracting attention recently because of the shareholding of Tatsuro Kiyohara, a legendary investor, as well as NMS Holdings <2162>, which is related to the promotion of foreign workers in the Japanese government.

Lastly, when it comes to individual stocks, we pick up Information Strategy Technology <155A>, which recently agreed with Headwaters to develop services using AI, Japan Avionics <6946>, Tokyo Keiki <7721>, and Endo Seisakusho <7841>, a topic of discussion because of Tatsuro Kiyohara's shareholding, and NMS Holdings <2162>, which is related to the promotion of foreign workers in the Japanese government. We are checking them out as they all have expectations for chart formation in the future.

Yes, that's all for this time.

In my recent blog, in addition to the stocks introduced above, I pick up the 'Top 3 Stocks to Watch' every month as 'Sanae's Solo Stock 1GP' and measure their price range every weekend. Of course, there are various topics other than stocks... Please feel free to enjoy it even if you are curious or scared (lol). Well then, have a nice trade.
