SG Moving Co., Ltd., which provides added value of "transportation + alpha" with the main focus on installation, transportation, and relocation of large furniture and home appliances in SG Holdings Group, and Linet Japan Recycling Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Linet Japan Group Co., Ltd., which develops small appliance recycling business, signed a "Collaboration and Cooperation Agreement" with three municipalities in Saitama Prefecture, Uda City in Nara Prefecture, and Ayase City in Kanagawa Prefecture in June 2024 and the collaborating municipalities increased to 120 municipalities (approximately 8.9 million people by population conversion).
We have received favorable feedback from residents regarding the easy application process and the absence of hassle when disposing of unwanted items from the municipalities which have concluded agreements with us. In addition, we broadly inform residents of the overview and application methods of this service in PR magazines and on the municipality website, which also leads to a reduction in inquiries from the municipalities.

We provide the service "SG-ARK" which supports legal and smooth recycling of home appliances in accordance with the Home Appliance Recycling Law. Linet Japan Recycling has obtained permission and license based on the Small Home Appliance Recycling Law from the Ministry of the Environment and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and is developing a service that collects and recycles small home appliance products using home delivery services.

Service usage method
- Although appropriate disposal methods have been established for used electronic products according to the Household Appliance Recycling Law and the Small Appliance Recycling Law, large consumer electronic products, such as televisions, refrigerators, and washing machines, can be difficult to dispose of from the home environment. Difficulties can include lack of knowledge about appropriate disposal methods or purchasing tickets for recycling services in advance. As a result, illegal disposal by unlicensed businesses is a problem. The newly-signed agreement was formulated in order to address these issues and provide authorized and convenient recycling services to municipal residents as part of public services. Information will be provided to residents about these services via municipal websites, official publications, and other media channels. In the future, SG Moving and Linet Japan will continue to work closely with municipalities to promote appropriate and sustainable recycling practices.
- Recycling of various home appliances is possible, from large products such as televisions, refrigerators, and washing machines to small products such as microwaves, rice cookers, computers, hair dryers, radios, and clocks.
