On July 8th, Golonhui announced that according to the preliminary calculation of the finance department, the company is expected to achieve a net income attributable to the owners of the parent company of -310 million yuan to -370 million yuan in the first half of 2024, compared with the same period last year (legally disclosed data), there will be a loss. The net profit attributable to the owners of the parent company after deducting non-recurring gains and losses in the first half of 2024 is expected to be -320 million yuan to -380 million yuan.
The main reasons for the company's expected losses in the first half of 2024 are: First, affected by intensified competition, user loss, speed increase and fee reduction, etc., traditional cable TV viewing, data transmission, satellite landing, installation material fees, and other revenues have decreased significantly year-on-year. Second, fixed assets depreciation, network operation and maintenance and other fixed costs account for a high proportion of operating costs, with limited cost reduction. Third, in order to meet business development and daily operation needs, the scale of debt financing continues to increase, and financial expenses increase significantly. In the first half of the year, the company has made arrangements and deployments in business structure adjustment, accounts receivable collection, operation cost reduction, and expense compression. In the second half of the year, it will continue to intensify efforts to promote the implementation of various measures.
