On June 2024, Q Tech (01478.HK) disclosed sales data for its main products. A total of 33.009 million camera modules were sold that month, a decrease of 17.9% MoM and an increase of 34.8% YoY. Among them, 32.156 million camera modules for mobile phones were sold, an increase of 34.7% YoY. A total of 12.958 million fingerprint recognition modules were sold that month, an increase of 23.3% MoM.
The decrease in sales of camera module products is mainly due to customer project cycles, while the increase YoY is mainly due to the recovery of demand in the smart phone market, as well as the good development of the group's business in the mid-to-high-end camera module products and car camera module products.
The increase in sales of fingerprint recognition module products MoM and YoY is mainly due to the recovery of demand in the smart phone market and the increase of the group's market share in the fingerprint recognition module business.
