CEB Bank (06818) announced on July 8, 2024 that the nomination of Hao as a candidate for executive director of the ninth board of directors of the company, and Zhang Mingwen as a candidate for non-executive director of the ninth board of directors of the company, was reviewed and approved at the 20th meeting of the ninth board of directors held on July 8, 2024. Their appointment is subject to approval by the company's shareholders' meeting and the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission, and will take effect from the date of approval by the regulatory commission.
The board of directors also passed a resolution appointing Mr. Hao as the company's president, effective from the date when the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission approves his qualifications as president.
At the 20th meeting of the ninth board of directors held on July 8, 2024, the board unanimously approved the proposal regarding the appointment of the directors and committee members for the ninth board of directors of China Everbright Bank Co., Ltd. The board approved the appointment of Mr. Hao as the chairman and member of the social responsibility, inclusive finance development and consumer rights protection committees, member of the strategic committee and member of the risk management committee of the ninth board of directors, and Mr. Zhang as the member of the risk management committee, social responsibility, inclusive finance development and consumer rights protection committees of the ninth board of directors. Their appointment as directors will take effect from the date when their qualifications as directors are approved by the regulatory commission.
