■Company Overview
NMS Holdings ＜2162＞ was founded in 1985 based on a human resources service (human solution = HS) business based on manufacturing dispatch and manufacturing contracts, and was listed on JASDAQ in 2007. After that, Shima Electronics Co., Ltd. was acquired in 2010/7, and TKR Co., Ltd. (now TKR) was acquired in 2011/7, and the contract manufacturing (electronics manufacturing service = EMS) business was launched. Furthermore, in 2013/10, part of the business of Hitachi Media Electronics Co., Ltd. was transferred from Panasonic (currently Panasonic Holdings) ＜6752＞ in 2014/10, respectively, and a manufacturer (power supply = PS) business that carries out everything from development to design, manufacture, and sale of power supply-related products was launched. In 2019, the US business division, including the Mexican plant, was taken over from the US corporation of Sony (now Sony Group) ＜6758＞. The company advocates “bringing Japan's manufacturing quality to the world,” and the main focus of management is to maximize the strengths of “human resources business” x “manufacturing” by combining the three businesses. The company switched to a holding company system in 2017/4.
(1) HS business
The HS business provides general domestic and overseas manufacturing services in Japan, China, and ASEAN countries. Specifically, it is manufacturing business, production engineering business, IT/design development engineering business, technical service business, logistics service business, etc. In addition, foreign talent retention support services are also being developed by utilizing training facilities, Japanese language education systems, etc.
(2) EMS business
In the EMS business, in addition to mounting, pressing, molding, and finished product assembly, we have a wide range of know-how such as prototyping, parts procurement, and inspection, etc., and in addition to integrated production/mass production with high mounting quality and low-cost production line construction, we are also involved in production support with single processes and small quantities. Specific business details include electronic equipment manufacturing contract services, electronic equipment repair services, design/development/manufacture of automotive-related devices/parts, and shared businesses that carry out startup solutions, etc.
(3) PS business
In the PS business, in addition to providing power supplies and related parts as a manufacturer specializing in power supplies, they are developing EV-related products compatible with the electrification of industrial equipment as a pillar of the new business, and are planning to enter new fields.
