Nikkei Stock Average Contribution Ranking (Before the Market Opens): The Nikkei Stock Average rebounds significantly after three days, with Toshiba Electronic pushing up about 137 yen with one stock.

The number of gains and falls of the Nikkei Average constituent stocks as of closing 9 days ago was 132 stocks with price increases, 92 stocks with price drops, and 1 stock unchanged.

The Nikkei Average rebounded sharply. The forward transaction was closed at 41386.80 yen (estimated turnover 0.8 billion 30 million shares), which was 606.10 yen higher (+ 1.49%) compared to the previous day.

The US stock market is mixed. The Dow average closed at 39344.79 dollars with a depreciation of 31.08 dollars (-0.08%), the NASDAQ was 50.98 points higher (+ 0.28%) at 18403.74, and the S&P 500 closed at 5572.85, which was 5.66 points higher (+ 0.10%). It rose after being close to purchases in response to expectations of early interest rate cuts. After that, the Dow turned downward due to caution against important inflation indicators scheduled for this week and US Federal Reserve (Fed) Chairman Powell's testimony. The NASDAQ was supported by semiconductors such as NVIDIA, etc., and remained steady throughout the day, breaking record highs for 5 consecutive days, and ending in mixed situations.

In response to the rise in the NASDAQ, the Tokyo market started trading with a slight buying advantage. After the Nikkei Average started at around 41,000 yen, the increase gradually expanded against the backdrop of rising value semiconductor stocks. It hit an all-time high of 41386.80 yen during trading hours, resulting in an early market high discount. Meanwhile, since there were no automobile stocks or even financial stocks, TOPIX did not hit an all-time high.

In stocks adopted by the Nikkei Average, Fujikura <5803> and Furukawa Electric <5801> were viewed as material that the US specialty glass company Corning revised its earnings forecast for the April-6 fiscal year upward. Also, the establishment of a corporate coalition of 10 Japanese and US companies working on the development and evaluation of semiconductor post-processing became a stimulus material, and semiconductor-related issues such as Resonac HD <4004>, Tokyo Electron <8035>, SoftBank Group <9984>, Advantest <6857>, screen HD <7735>, and DISCO <6146> also rose. In addition, Hitachi <6501>, Keyence <6861>, and Asahi Kasei <3407> were bought.

Meanwhile, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries <7011>, which was currently being bought, fell for the first time in 12 business days, and automobile-related products such as SUBARU <770>, Mazda <7261>, Nissan <7201>, Honda <7267>, and Mitsubishi Motors <7211> were sold. Other than this, there aren't even Denka <4061>, Yokohama Rubber <5101>, and Hitachi Construction Equipment <6305>.

By industry, while electrical equipment, nonferrous metals, precision equipment, chemistry, information/communication industries, etc. rose, mining, shipping, rubber products, transportation equipment, banking, etc. declined.

The top contributor to price increases was Toelec (8035), which boosted the Nikkei Average by about 137 yen with 1 stock. Fast Rette <9983> came in the same 2nd place, followed by SoftBank G <9984>, Advantest <6857>, Shin-Etsu <4063>, TDK <6762>, and Recruit HD <6098>.

Meanwhile, the top contributor to price drops was Toyota <7203>, which pushed down the Nikkei Average by about 4 yen with 1 brand. Honda <7267> came in the same 2nd place, followed by Denso <6902>, Suzuki <7269>, Hitachiken <6305>, Secom <9735>, Bridgestone <5108>, etc.
