Efforts towards CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility)

As part of CSR, TDC Soft <4687> engages in fundraising and support for disasters. After the March 11, 2011 earthquake off the Pacific coast of Tohoku, donations collected from employees and charitable donations were donated to the Japanese Red Cross Society. Currently, support continues through the purchase of seafood and other products from Tohoku. As for the donations for the flood damage regions in the Kanto and Tohoku regions since September 2015, charity was donated through the city hall in the Joso area of Ibaraki Prefecture, where the damage was particularly severe due to the Kino River breaking. In addition, after the Kumamoto earthquake in April 2016, charitable donations collected from employees and charitable donations were donated to Kumamoto Prefecture. In March 2023, donations were made to the non-profit medical and humanitarian aid organization Médecins Sans Frontières to deliver medical care to people at risk of death due to conflicts, natural disasters, and poverty. Also, in the Noto Peninsula earthquake of Reiwa 6 (2024), the TDC Soft Group has donated 5 million yen in aid money.

As a social contribution that anyone can easily participate in, we conduct fundraising activities for the Japan Guide Dog Association (public foundation). We have set up a donation box in the office since 2009 and support guide dog training by calling for donations at all company events. In accordance with the Act on Promotion of Employment of Persons with Disabilities, we have opened "Wakaba Farms Ichihara" in November 2012, "Wakaba Farms Kashiwa" in November 2020, "Wakaba Farms Kawagoe" in July 2022, and "Wakaba Farms Urawa" in October of the same year to promote employment of people with disabilities. The crops produced so far include cherry tomatoes, eggplants, cabbage, mizuna, bok choy, cucumbers, edamame, komatsuna, spinach, onions, Swiss chard, white turnips, and okra. The harvested vegetables are sent to the head office regularly and reach the employees.

On March 11, 2024, it was recognized as a "Healthy Management Excellent Company 2024 (Large Company Division)" sponsored by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Japan Health Conference. The Health Management Excellent Company Certification System is a system that certifies large companies and small and medium-sized enterprises that are particularly excellent in promoting health management by actively supporting the health activities of employees and their families and promoting organizational health activities, in compliance with efforts that meet the health issues in the area and health promotion efforts promoted by the Japan Health Conference. The company is working to create a "company that is easy to work for and has a sense of purpose" by actively supporting the health activities of employees and their families and promoting organizational health activities. The company aims to provide the best service to customers and develop together with society by maintaining the physical and mental health of employees and their families and demonstrating their highest performance.
