SG Holdings Group's Sagawa Express Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") is planning to start a service on September 2nd (Mon) where customers (consignees) can choose "home delivery" as the method of receiving their packages.
Currently, we only support "home delivery" for some packages as a designated location delivery service*1. In the future, more packages will be able to choose "home delivery" through our Web service, Smart Club*2 for our members and through our LINE official account*3. By offering a variety of delivery methods, we aim to improve customer convenience and increase logistic efficiency. The Company will continue to strive for sustainable logistics.
More details will be announced on our website when the service starts.

Overview of home delivery:

(1) Start date: September 2nd, 2024 (Mon) (scheduled)
(2) Target commodities:
Takkyubin, Takkyubin Large Size, and Takkyubin Air
* Depending on the service, the type of package and the sender's wishes, it may not be possible to meet your request.
(3) How to choose "home delivery":
From a smartphone or computer, log in to Smart Club, our members' Web service, or access it, then select "home delivery" as the method of receiving your package and specify your desired location from the "designated available receiving location". You can also choose "home delivery" from the delivery schedule notification that will be sent to your smartphone as a consignee via our LINE official account.
(4) Designated available receiving locations:
Home delivery box, front door of your house, gas meter box, garage, bicycle basket, storage, etc.

Currently, we have a "designated location delivery service" where customers (consignees) can choose to receive their packages at specified locations, such as their front doors or garages, for packages shipped by senders who have individually contracted with our company. However, this service is only available for a limited number of parcels. This time, we plan to add a new feature where members of our Smart Club can choose "home delivery" as the method of receiving their packages using their smartphones or computers and not just limiting the selection to delivery date and time. We also plan to allow customers to choose "home delivery" through our LINE official account. By offering diversified delivery methods, we will improve customer convenience and reduce trucking transport CO2 emissions as well as efficiently streamline driver operations. Please note that the service contents may be changed.

*1 Designated location delivery service:
This is a service where packages shipped by senders who have individually contracted with our company can be delivered to specified locations, such as our customers’ front doors or garages, when the consignees choose this option at the time of delivery.

Our member customers can receive notifications about delivery dates and times beforehand, as well as use our services online for things like changing the delivery date or location or requesting a redelivery.
