Fisco Japan ·  Jul 10 03:30

On July 10, the TOCOM Growth Market 250 Index futures fell 1 point to 649 points compared to the previous trading day. The high was 654 points, the low was 642 points, and the intraday trading volume was 5,143 shares. The Dow Jones Average fell for the second day in a row on the previous day, with a cautious tone ahead of Powell's congressional testimony, varied after the opening. As the chairman mentioned in his testimony that the recent data shows a slowdown in the economy and labor market, Dow turned lower from caution. Nasdaq remained firmly supported by buying in high-tech and continued to hit record highs for six consecutive days. Today's TOCOM Growth Market 250 Index futures started at 652 points, up 2 points from the previous trading day. Although it moved in the positive zone just after the opening, it quickly became dominated by selling. Short-term selling pressure increased due to the lack of growth in leading stocks, but emerging markets had a directionless movement with buying opportunities at moments where it fell below the 75-day moving average line. As attention rises to Powell's testimony to the House Financial Services Committee in the United States, it was confirmed that the Nikkei Stock Average and TOPIX both hit record highs based on closing prices, and then reversed the trend to end trading at 649 points. In the main stocks of the TOCOM Growth Market, Trial <141A> and Integral <5842> fell.
