Rakuten Symphony has officially launched the Rakuten NEO IoT unmanned space management solution in Japan.

Rakuten Symphony will officially launch the advanced IoT unmanned space management solution 'Rakuten NEO', which automates space management such as offices using AI, in Japan from today, July 11th. This solution is equipped with advanced machine learning algorithms and sensor technology, supporting unmanned operation of facilities such as trunk rooms and share offices, and streamlining business operations or unmanned existing businesses. It contributes to the resolution of the labor shortage problem in companies through the streamlining of management of offices and other facilities as well as cost reduction, and maximizes profits.
Specifically, 'Rakuten NEO' remotely supports operational control systems such as inventory inspection, facility access control, HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning), and humidity management. It also quickly detects and responds to unauthorized access, water leaks, and other emergencies. With this solution, multiple facilities can be managed in real-time with a minimum of personnel. Additionally, this solution is provided as a SaaS (Software as a Service) model, enabling cost reduction and efficient operations by allowing adopting companies to select and use necessary functions.

For deployments outside of Korea, 'Rakuten NEO' will be offered as a service under Rakuten Symphony. It will first begin service deployment in the Japanese market and aim for global expansion in the future. By contributing to unmanned business operations through the most advanced automation and operational efficiency, 'Rakuten NEO' aims to expand its share in the AI-based IoT market.
'Rakuten NEO' had undergone verification testing with Marine Box Co., Ltd. (Marine Box) prior to its full-scale launch in Japan. Marine Box provides storage solutions such as trunk rooms and container rentals that are accessible 24 hours a day in Japan. By introducing 'Rakuten NEO', they have successfully reduced labor costs and improved service quality by remotely managing the entry and exit of people and the air conditioning, and receiving real-time alarms for water leaks, fires, and other emergencies.
Furthermore, 'Rakuten NEO' is expected to be introduced in various facilities such as offices, showrooms, lodging facilities, golf ranges, sports gyms, and coin laundries, contributing to cost-effective unmanned operations in a wide range of fields.
